General Submission Guidelines If you believe love is beautiful thing then Pink Petal Books wants to hear from you! Pink Petal Books publishes romance novels. We publish all sub-genres (including BBW, I/R, paranormal, M/M, historical, contemporary, fantasy, suspense, all of it!) and all heat levels (from sweet to super-hot erotic). We believe no matter what form it takes that love is beautiful thing and we want our authors to embody this philosophy in their writing. Our books focus primarily on the relationship between the characters (regardless of gender or number) and each story is unique to the characters and the journey they make to finding love and happiness. We understand that as an author you have many choices when it comes to publishers. Here’s why you should publish with Pink Petal Books:
What do we want? Pink Petal Books seeks romance novels from 25,000-100,000 words in all sub-genres and with all heat levels. Our books focus on the romance, so give us stories about characters who we want to fall in love. Sexual content should be appropriate to the story and the characters. We will never ask you to add more sex for the sake of adding sex. We do not want stories that contain bestiality, necrophilia, incest (including twincest), underage characters, bodily fluids used as sexual titillation (blood in the case of vampires can be considered an exception, but it must fit in with the story. No gore please.), or rape. To have your work considered for publication please email a cover letter, synopsis, and first three chapters to submissions(a)jupitergardens.com Please only submit/query for complete works. New Line: In the Saddle Horses have had a long history in our country from the first settlers to the professional athletes of. Give us stories about equestrians of all types. We’re looking for romances of all heat levels (from sweet to erotic romances), and all sub-genres from paranormal horse shifters to contemporaries, and westerns. Give us things we haven’t seen before (maybe a story involving a mounted police officer), and show us all sizes, styles, and orientations of love. Our regular submission guidelines apply, with story lengths beginning at 25K and going up to 100K. We pay ebook royalty rate of 40% on sales directly from us, and we pay 40% of money received from third-party vendors. We believe in putting our books out through other vendors like Kindle or All Romance eBooks, and all books which meet modest sales goals and our length requirement of 50K will go into print. New Line: Playtime Diamonds aren’t the only things that are a girl’s best friend. Sometimes battery operated boyfriends, ticklers, and handcuffs rank highly on the list, too. This series of novellas explores items found in a woman’s “toy box.” The only rules: the story has to feature the item prominently (including being used in the story) and it has to be a romance. Other than that, let your fantasies out to play! Novellas selected for this line must be erotic romances between 15,000 and 25,000 words. These stories can be from any romantic genre so long as they contain the toy prominently in the story. Stories will be sold as stand-alone ebooks and then will be packaged into a print volume.
